After all, we are all trying to be the best at what we do. For a time there were a few posers and pretenders in the framebuilding world, but in the last ten years, a group of sincere and dedicated people have come up from trade schools and apprenticeships. This new crop of framebuilders are elevating the art and adding sincerity to a craft that has needed it for a long time. The crumudgeon with the nasty attitude has been replaced by the person who really wants to fill your needs as a customer. I would like to think that myself, and a few others have started this trend...a dedication to service and constant refinement of craft. What sets Rock Lobster apart might be simply how I do buisiness. I try to give fair prices and give realistic timelines on delivery. I also am constantly trying to attain higher quality levels and more cutting edge designs. Most of my frames are straightforward performance machines, designed to give the rider the most for the money in terms of fit and riding comfort. My line of steel frames is based on the notion that a custom frame should last a lifetime. My new aluminum and carbon-aluminum frames are designed for absolute top race performance with minmal sacrifice of longterm durability.
