Seamless butted alloy tubes make this my lightest, stiffest mountain frame, yet it still has just the right amount of compliance to not beat you up on rough trails. It’s also an excellent climber and designed to be very stable ad high speeds. Available as a 29er, 650b, 26″ and singlespeed options available.
TEAM TIG SINGLESPEED
Rock Lobster was the pioneer in single speeding back in 1987, when nobody cared and it was a hard sell. I am still committed to the idea that one gear is a great way to ride the trails and experience mountain biking. It’s simple. It’s silent. And it’s hard. The TIG Team S.L. singlespeed has the same features as the geared frame but uses the Paul Component ‘swoopy’ dropouts for a dedicated SS setup.
TEAM TIG SL
Since 1993, this has been the most popular mountain frame built at Rock Lobster. It features front-end gussets to reinforce the high-end lightweight steel tubes, sleek wishbone seatstays and a machined head tube. This frame is available in 26”, 650b or 29” wheel formats.
